Who are Millennials and why should they be a part of your marketing plan?
There’s been a lot of talk about Millennials and there’s a reason for that. What’s the best way for brands to engage with Millennials?
You have to be authentic with Millennials. They don’t like marketing jargon and they don’t like being sold to. They want to hear about your brand, they want to hear about your story and then they want to be a part of that story. That’s why crowdsourcing is so important in Millennial marketing. Let them be a part of your brand, let them help create the brand story. While that may feel really uncomfortable to traditional marketers, that’s what Millennials want and that’s what they are going to demand from you.
