The holidays are always a time to celebrate. It’s a good time to reflect upon the year. At Mambo we have a lot to celebrate. Our agency has been growing quickly and healthily and all to the thanks of our amazing clients. While we could write a blog on each of our fabulous clients (and we do, eventually), I’d like to write this blog as an ode to our relationship with PSU’s Center for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE).
It’s an exciting time of the year because they are in the last week of one of the current certificate programs, Digital Marketing Strategies. We are admittedly (only slightly) biased towards this program, as Mambo’s founder, Siouxsie Jennett is one of the instructors for the Social Media Marketing course. And if that wasn’t enough to draw us close, two of Mambo’s current employees were hired out of this program!
For those of you unfamiliar, the Digital Marketing Strategies certificate is broken into five courses that guide students through the principal categories under the large umbrella of digital marketing. These include: Introduction to Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, Measuring and Optimizing your Website, and Advanced Concepts Digital Media Integration. Each course has a different instructor that is an expert in their field keeping the program current and on trend for the ever-advancing environment.
The last week of class is always enjoyable, as the students will be presenting their strategy recommendations for two local businesses, giving both practical experience to the students and much needed advice for local business.
It’s easy to get a little heart-felt around the holidays. But, we can’t deny that certain experiences just hold us close to our values.
